ASPECTS OF THE MARINE SPATIAL PLANNING PROCESS
LAND-SEA INTERACTIONS
In addition to terrestrial spatial planning, DMP is seen as one of the preconditions for achieving the ICZM targets. Land and maritime areas, which form the basis of these two spatial planning, need to be planned in an integrated approach. In this context, since planning in marine areas has not yet reached the level of planning in land areas, it is necessary to pay attention to marine planning and also to pay attention to natural processes and activities that have integrated terrestrial and marine components. The detailed information regarding the studies and projects conducted on land-sea interactions should be provided by the relevant ministries and institutions.
